Hi there, my name is Tammy! I’m a graduate student at Northwestern University, the #2 speech-language pathology program in the nation.
As an out-of-field major at university that did not have a speech-language pathology program, the struggle was real. Nevertheless, I was able to graduate early, gain in-field experience, build my resume, and get into more graduate programs than I could have dreamed of.
I created this website to help students navigate their way through their educational journey by sharing my own story, providing resources, and advice. I aspire to empower students,resonate with them, and help them be successful.
I’m not saying this journey was easy – but I will say that I will give you the guidance to make your journey as hassle-free as possible.
My mission is to be your guide and equip you with the proper tools to thrive through your SLP journey.
